Halloween is Around the Corner

Updated: Nov 23, 2019

The spookiest day of the year is only 11 days away!

Max is in the Halloween spirit!

Last year, I went all out to design a Sanrio-inspired, coordinated family outfit. We dressed as Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, and Keroppi and I designed t-shirts and bought hats and headbands from Etsy and Amazon. I don't have the luxury of time this year (you know, with the Ph.D. and all), but all holidays are special to us, so we are still planning a fun-filled day for our toddler's second Halloween.

This year, we are going to dress as a family of skeletons! I went to Bay Street in Emeryville, California and found everything we needed right there. I bought our son's skeleton outfit at H&M and my skeleton dress and tights and my husband's shirt and gloves at a Spirit Halloween pop-up shop. We're still figuring out our plans: there are several kid-friendly parties in the area and since we now have a walking baby, hopefully we can trick or treat in our neighborhood. What are you doing for Halloween this year?
